Miche Bag had a terrific 2009. The response to the new shells and the Big Bag was overwhelming. Miche Bag was so blessed, the company decided it was time to give back. Much thought was put into the into this effort. How to give back and where to give back?

With 1 in 3 women in the United States expected to get breast cancer, the answer to the second question (where) was easy – the Huntsman Cancer Institute which is associated with the University of Utah.

And from that idea a small shell and Big Bag shell were designed and produced. The shell is covered in quotes from cancer survivors in white on a black background, and the well-known pink ribbon symbol is attached to the front of each shell. As a tribute, a tag with a quote and picture from a Cancer survivor is attached.

The best part - Miche Bag is donating $5.00 from the sale of each shell. We’ve set a goal to donate $1 million to Huntsman Cancer research by 2011!

Miche Bag in the News

Last September (2009) Michelle Romero, the founder of Miche Bag, visited Denver for a meeting with our local distributor and sales reps. She and her executive team shared the Miche story, new products and future plans. It was great meeting them, and they were excited to meet with the reps.

While in Denver, Michelle was on Denver’s Fox News Channel 31, KDVR and demonstrated the Miche Bag, the Big Bag and Shells. Here’s a video of that news story:

November Releases Announced!

We can’t wait for November, so we’re showing you the new shells for your handbag collection a few days early – and they’re gorgeous! If you love purple (I sure do), you’ll want the Premium Shell, Belle, with it’s full sides and zipper detail. This one is pretty enough to wear with everything!

And then there’s Linda – another Premium Shell in a textured faux leather with full sides. It’s very dressy. Try it with your party looks or with your black jeans (denim or velvet).

And of course, Miche announces two more Big Bag shells, and they’re beautiful too. Mary has a softer feminine touch in a deep blue faux leather with a pleat detail. And Cheryl has a more sporty look in a burgundy faux leather with double front pockets.

It’s been “the talk” for weeks and weeks, and it’s finally here. We’ve seen a few sneak peaks, and a few weeks ago the Colorado Reps were given one. Yes! I did receive one two weeks before they were released! And as of September 29th they became available for you to see and buy, and they’re beautiful. There are six of them- well really seven: 6 Big Bag Shells and a Big Bag base. There will be two more released November 1st. The base comes with two standard handles, but there is also a shoulder strap on a pivot clip available which is shown in the pictures below.

Miche offers three more creative designs for October with the the holiday shell, Joy, the premium shell, Christa, and Taylor – just right for fall. All three are perfect as we transition to the fall and winter seasons. Joy is a Limited Edition for the holiday season with a contemporary Christmas tree in silver on a shiny patterned red faux leather. Christa is a gorgeous burgundy/brown finished with herring bone stitching and a dark trim that highlights the detailing. Taylor is a burnt orange shell with a soft cushy texture that works with your favorite jeans or your new fall skirt. Can’t decide? Get them all. For sure, get Joy now because she’ll be gone fast!

As always, when Miche introduces new shells, a few of the older ones retire at lower prices. Kate (pink with brown polka dots), Alina (cream and brown floral), and Brooklyn (black/white and brown/white) are available at lower prices while supplies last, so ask me about them. These would make great gifts!
